Dropbox had a clear opportunity to connect with creative professionals and small teams by showing up where they already spend time—on social media.
The Plug came to me with a clear but complex challenge: create a paid social ad for Dropbox that would cut through the noise and speak directly to busy creatives and small teams. The ad needed to feel native to the platform, align with Dropbox’s brand voice, and be delivered in just three days. On top of that, I had to showcase the product in a way that was both visually creative and well-designed—simple screen grabs weren’t going to cut it.

The final ad not only met the tight turnaround—it also outperformed expectations. Within the first week, it delivered a 23% higher engagement rate than Dropbox’s average paid social content and sparked a noticeable lift in click-throughs to their landing page. The Plug and Dropbox both praised the creative for its polish, platform-native feel, and ability to showcase the product without sacrificing design integrity.
